I’m inspired by the role woman play in so many cultures, where they model their strength and grace in the ordinary. They are barrers of GOOD FRUIT
This theme is one I continue to be interested in, I do love the idea of using nature to bring the work alive.
So much of life is about waiting. through it we grow.
I love how sculpture doesn’t have to sit on a pedestal, it can be part of your conversation, even with wee ones around.
Another theme I never tire of, Mother and child. I’m a grandmother with young grandchildren. Such a sweet season, so rewarding and so very tiring.
Based on the scripture in Matthew 5 about looking at the sparrow and seeing how God cares for this small creature, and the hope it gives us knowing how much more he cares for us.
This candleholder is based on the scripture from John 15, “He is the vine , we are the branches”. He is holding us tight, wherever we are on the branch.
Sunflowers always look toward the sun
